Our RV Story
Welcome to Allons RV! When translated to English it means 'Let's go RV!' This is a camping lifestyle blog providing insight and travel tips and tricks.
We are Jean-Paul and Kristin. We have two children and are from Lafayette, LA, the heart of Cajun Country.
We have always enjoyed traveling as a family. We bought our travel trailer in November 2021 after talking about it for almost two years. We have a Rockwood MiniLite 2509S by Forest River. We wanted to keep the camper as short and light as possible for easy towing but with enough room for our family of four.
We aren't full time RV'ers, but more like weekend warriors. Our goal is to take the travel trailer out at least once a month typically for weekends or holidays.
We love kayaking and canoeing in the bayous and lakes in our beautiful Louisiana state parks. We also enjoy hiking, fishing, cooking, and just plain old relaxing.
Our dream is to one day become full time RV'ers once our children are grown. Until then we will camp as much as we can as a family and make long lasting memories.
